Justine Kim Partner / Senior Project Manager

Justine Kim, a licensed architect with over 30 years of experience, was drawn to project management for the multi-faceted collaboration between clients, architects, engineers, artists, agencies, and end-users. Justine’s extensive experience in architecture and the construction industry, combined with an exceptional commitment to achieve the highest quality, ensure that optimum design and construction oversight is provided on every project. Since joining SOJ in 2007, Justine has overseen several high-profile projects, including the rehabilitation of King Street Station, the first historic renovation in Washington to earn LEED Platinum certification. Her work also includes the Pike Place MarketFront, Seattle’s Fire Station 10, and the Tukwila Public Works Program, which comprised five projects: the Justice Center, two fire stations, and a public works campus. Additionally, she has managed multiple campuses for Seattle Public Schools, including Mercer Middle School, Daniel Bagley Elementary School, Robert Eagle Middle School, and Cascadia Elementary School. Justine earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Washington.

Justine was born and raised in Seoul, Korea and has lived in Honolulu, Chicago and Seattle. She enjoys spending time with her two young adult sons while golfing, cooking and experiencing the culturally vibrant life in the greater Seattle area.
